Petah Tikvahs Beliefs

  1. We believe that the G-d head is made up of three separate person.  (Father, Son, and Ruach Hakodesh) who are united as one.
  2. We believe in the deity of Yeshua the Messiah.  We believe that he was born of a virgin, shed his blood, and gave his life for mankind to bring atonement for sin; that he bodily arose from the dead and that he will return in power and glory.
  3. We believe that Yeshua is our sin/guild offering.  It is through trusting in his atoning sacrifice that a person can know that they will be justified before their creator.
  4. We believe that the Ruach Hakodesh (Hold Spirit) dwells within the believer to give them spiritual insight and empower them to live a godly life.
  5. We belive in the resurrection of both the redeemed and the lost; the redeemed shall be rsurrected unto eternal peace and fellowship with their creator.  The lost shall be resurrected unto eternal sorrow and shall be cut off from their creator forever.
  6. We believe that the Bible consisting of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant) is the infallible wod of G-d and is valuable for teaching, convicting of sin, and training in right living.
  7. We believe that the children of Israel are bound to G-d by an eternal covenant.  Jewish believers in Yeshua are called to maintain their Jewish biblical heritage and remain part of the Jewish community and the universal body of believers.
